The Wayzata Difference
Wayzata Community Sailing Center strives to increase the understanding and enjoyment of sailing, for both competitive racing and recreational sailing. Our staff is devoted to developing our students into happy and confident lifelong sailors, through day camps, race programs and adult lessons. WCSC is committed to bettering the greater sailing community though various events and coaching programs.
We foster an environment, which people develop a lifetime love of sailing. Our unique community shapes sailors to think quickly, act justly and adhere to sportsman like conduct in all areas of their lives.
Name Change:
The Wayzata Sailing School and the Wayzata Sailing Foundation will now do business as the Wayzata Community Sailing Center. Same friendly people with the same high quality programs, just with a new name and home!

Classes for Five and Six Year Olds:
The Kinder Pram Sailing Camp is for students ages 5-6 who have not entered 1st grade. Based on the very successful Canadian program, Kinder Pram will introduce children to the sport and help guide parents through the journey their child will take at the Wayzata Community Sailing Center.
Half Day Camps for Teen’s:
This new course will be for teens who want an afternoon sailing experience. Students will learn on our new J-22 keelboats offered in two week half day camps. Small class sizes and great instructors will make this a great new opportunity.
Adult Lessons on Keelboats:
Live your childhood dream and take sailing lessons this summer. Classes will be offered in the evenings in two week sessions aboard our new J-22 keelboats. Don’t miss out on this summer, it’s the program everyone has been waiting for. Go to Adult Lessons for more information.
