Not into racing? Want to keep sailing in the fall? Need a break after school or work? We’ve got you covered! This unique program will keep you sailing into the fall.
Geared as a loosely structured open sailing club, we’ll have supervised open sailing with light instruction on-request. The goal is to create an open and fun atmosphere for sailors to get out and sail, without the intensity of a race practice. Here sailors and their friends will be able to learn and get hands-on sailing experience. J22s and 420s may be used to balance and make sure everyone is out and sailing. For our team members it provides a more casual night to build your skills, meet some potential teammates, and have yourself some open sailing time.
Participants must have completed at least one 420 related class with WCSC (R.A.D., KTL, Race, etc.) and be prepared to handle a boat by themselves or plan on attending with a friend.
FREE FOR CURRENTLY REGISTERED HS SAILORS ON RACE TEAMS – DO NOT REGISTER – JUST SHOW UP – INCLUDED WITH HS REGISTRATION
